Ultra Bike makes it into Left Lion

The Ultra Gold bike as seen in the ultra horse advent calendar was photographed for it's awesomeness and put in Nottingham's finest magazine Left Lion in the January issue, go get it!!!

Alt Press Fair

The fine folks at UK's Alternative Press - - - http://www.alternativepress.org.uk/ - - - put on a really well attended and well stocked fair in London this weekend - we missed out on a table..then got offered one..but didn't have our stuff - - despite being in London..for Motorhead...so I went along to buy stuff and say hello to familiar faces. HELLO!
Folks I recommend from zine fairs past, who were at this one ...Wolfwind/BillyAB/EyeballComix/ReetComics/JoeDecie/Decadence - they all rule - google that shit!

Excitingly (is that a word?) it was confirmed a huge weekend long festival of zines and alt. press will be held next year - 28/29th May next year. EXCITING!

Ultra Halloween Horse

It's fair to say we had fun this halloween.
We hung out at Hello Thor's Hello Gore night at the Nottingham Contemporary.
It had Arts and Farts.

Anne dressed as a box of cereal - A CEREAL KILLER RIGHT?

The costume - despite being great - was impractical to wear - but practical to use as..a table etc..

An Ultrahorse called Panic

So this is about as good as life gets right? Not only are there a load of shorts on youtube - just search 'Town Called Panic' but they've just put out a feature film that is this madness for over an hour. It's brilliant. It's hilarious. One of the main characters is even a Horse.
Stunning.

Been a while since an ULTRAHORSE posting.

Well we've been busy. I think.

I've been busy playing and recording with The Wickets and Anne has been busy learning how to light productions of Macbeth.

But we're heading to Leeds next month for The FOOTPRINTERS zine fair.
Work is progressing nicely on issue 7 of Constipated Rhythms..and issues 4/5/6 are now archived as part of the London College of Communication's zine library.
They were also included as part of the launch party for the new Fanzine book published by Faber and Faber.

WOWZERS.

Brum Brum zine fair

We headed to Birmingham this past weekend for fun and frollics BUT NOT CAKE at the Birmingham Zine Fair.

Tiny TINY room but amazing selection of zines and some familiar faces in Jimi Gherkin, VampireSushi Distro and Decadence Zines. HELLO! Loads of new faces too. GOOD JOB! Well done to Timothy Winchester of People I Know comics for accosting us on immediate entrance to the fair, making polite, hilarious small talk and buying/swapping all the zines we had. He worked on ChuckleVision. Secret's out!

We only had our zines on the communal table this time, so now megalopolis of stuff on display, but was worth it all the same! We even sold the zines we brought up anyway. Result.

We drove down to Tunbridge Wells this weekend for a day of Tea and Cake and Zines.
And tacos.

THE UK'S FIRST TACO BELL
Deep in the heart of Essex's Lakeside shopping behemoth.
Boy it tasted amazing/horrifically bad for you in equal measure.

We made it to MADE around 2. Got rushed in VIP style..sure..and set up.
Were loverly.

Our stall was well stocked. I made 4 freemini1joke zines for the day especially. They are all gone now and will never be seen again. Well done to those keen enough to acquire one. eBay awaits!
Anne sold all her bloody prints! Amazing. THANKYOU everyone. It was well worth the trip.
